Welcome to Hortus.
British Guyana, 3rd June 1920 -
A remarkable lady, who would become a remarkable cook,
was born: our grandmother.
Known for her hospitality and great flavours everywhere she went, she became the reason
behind Hortus.
In March 2015, we opened Hortus Vegetarian Restaurant in her honour.
A variety of delicious flavours, as well as sharing good times and
good food with family & friends
are at the very heart & soul
of Hortus.
